 My custom DIY planner pages and why I can't just conform to the store bought templates. I have mentioned this before but I thought a detailed explanation would be helpful for those who have asked. I was looking for something specific. I am a 'lister' and don't function well without a daily to-do list but there are items on each daily list that don't change and I don't want to have to write the checklist out every day. I tried creating a word document of little boxes - sized the same as Happy Planner or Erin Condren and putting my personal daily checklist in the box and then printing a dozen of them to tape or stick to each day, but that didn't work for me. Next, I wanted a planner that I could also use as a memory keeper because I have no time for scrapbooking but still want to gather my memories and export some of these photos from my phone. I love the pocket scrapbooking idea because it is so easy, simple and clean. That said, I needed to find a way to incorporate the pocket cards with my planner. Lastly, I want the freedom to incorporate my stamps, die cuts and embellishments because I'm a crafter and LOVE junk journals and the like. I like using different mediums and texture and dimension. I didn't want a scrapbook, a junk journal, a planner, etc... I want one book with everything. Hence the design of my own weekly planner pages because the A5 store bought monthly and weekly page designs don't fit a set of 4 pocket cards. My printed pages are about 1/4" larger than regular A5 pages. Exact dimension below.  The weekly pages are designed to fit the rectangular stickers that match Happy Planner and Erin Condren so when I go to the store and have that uncontrollable urge to buy stickers, they will fit my pages. And I like making stickers for my daughter who uses the Happy Planner so I needed ensure my planner pages worked with that size sticker. We constantly send each other pictures of our pages. I added a pdf of my blank planner pages below incase anyone wants to try them out. If you print it at home, print at "actual" size, landscape on 8.5 x 11" card stock. Then just cut to fit.
