There's SO much happening so fast right now, as I type this in Mid March during the height of this Corona Virus pandemic that it's hard to keep up and we can only hope it will soon be a memory from the past. For those like me who are avid scrapbookers - I've created some pocket cards that highlight key dates of the pandemicso you can add your photos and journaling about this historic time in our lives for the children and grandchildren to read about. As a Mom, there is one thing that I continually preach to my two daughters. It isn't that they be responsible or respectful, or do the right thing and be kind everyday - honestly, my girls don't need reminding of that. I'm a very proud mom. But what I preach to them regularly is that they reserve time from their busy scheduled life to get out into nature and have themselves an adventure. At least one adventure a month is what I preach. My own life experience has proven to me how important and valuable it is to appreciate and enjoy all that the great outdoors has to offer... not to mention all the healing properties of fresh air and sunshine. For my daughter's birthday, I made her a monthly {coffee table} size scrapbook to keep her adventures in. I made it simple enough to just add her photos and write a few notes about that particular adventure and then move on to the next month. Hopefully this helps get her OUT THE DOOR! PRODUCTS: I used a 6x8 Everyday Life scrapbook album from Close to my Heart - LINK HERE --> https://shelly.closetomyheart.com/Retail/Products.aspx?CatalogID=309 I used these pocket cards - LINK HERE --> https://etsy.me/2TSWHxZ Here's the flip through: Have you instantly downloaded some of my Pocket Scrapbooking travel destinations or other creative inserts to complete your scrapbook pages or create your unique hand made gift? If so, well thank you so much for appreciating my work! And here, I'd like to give you some ideas of what you can do with your instant downloads. 8.5 x 11 Pocket Scrapbooking with 3 Ring binders and Trading Card pages Some call it pocket scrapbooking, others use the 'project life' term for an ease of understanding. Either way, I tried to make my downloads easy peasy for everyone to use. If you have a nice printer at home, I suggest using a heavy stock paper either matte or glossy and print the highest quality for great looking photos. Your download comes with one page that is suited to fit an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. Your printout can be used as is or you can cut the 2.5x3.5" pocket pictures and easily slip them into 'trading card' pages that fit simply into any 3 ring binder. Quick, easy, simple, cost effective - and the trading card pages (used by hobbyists who collect baseball cards and the like) can be found anywhere with ease. Jet has them for under $16 for a pack of 100 - LINK HERE. 12x12 Pocket Scrapbooking Also included in my instant downloads are (2) - 8.5 x 11 sized pages that have the 3x4" sized pocket designs so you can also print these at home. If you don't prefer to print at home, the zip file you receive hosts all the individual 3x4" pockets designs as jpg files that you can print alone or send to a printer. I found that the UPS store will print a matte card stock 8.5x11 piece of paper for less than .75 and then I just cut the individual pocket cards myself. You can use an online program to combine 2 of the 3x4 jpgs into a 4x6 and print those at Walmart for less than .25 each. Create unique handmade gifts I have an obsession for all things 'one-of-a-kind' or 'handmade'. I feel like it means so much more to give a gift you put thought and effort into, vs a store bought item. DIY your own unique creative gift! Create a Bucket List book for your friend's wedding gift! Adventures for the new couple! I recently created a mini adventure book that hangs on the wall. It was a gift for my neighbors. I also made one for myself. I hang it in my bathroom so when guests have a seat, they can browse our latest travel adventures! Gives them something to do while they sit there. :) Have you come up with another great creative gift idea? I would love to hear all about it! Feel free to share below.
